Der Mensch als Industriepalast

The illustrations sampled by Science Friday from Fritz Kahn are an invitation to relive my childhood. I remember an old (its binding was broken) one-volume "encyclopedia" that my mother kept. It had an illustration for human biologic processes that was very much like Kahn's most famous image, Der Mensch als Industriepalast. More at the publisher's site.
