Mr Peanut turns 100
Who knew there was once a nutmobile? From a Mental Floss article on the hundredth birthday of Mr Peanut. Reminds me that I used to love to stand in front of the Planter's Peanut store on Prospect Avenue in Cleveland and watch the mechanical Mr Peanut tap on the window.

They make their soft-textured pain de mie loaves every day, then top them with an array of sweet or savory combinations. Start with a slice slathered with rich, drippy peanut butter and topped with Sriracha and cilantro, then have another—laden with Nutella, butter, and shards of Maldon salt—for dessert.
