I grew up in Cleveland, where the famous Michelson-Morley experiment was performed. A simple stone marker was set near the spot on the CWRU campus. I think there's a grander memorial now.

One of Laffing Sal's incarnations lived outside the fun house at the Euclid Beach amusement park in Cleveland. I remember being terrified of her. Kind of disappointing to learn that she had a whole family.
