Next year, Britain will release new coins commemorating Shakespeare and Beatrix Potter. We've seen plenty of postage stamps honoring our literary heritage in this country, but no currency yet. Of the alternate designs presented at the link to Huffington Post, I like the coin with the QR code best.New Two Pound Coins Depict Literary Greats, Shakespeare, Beatrix Potter https://t.co/e4rlvElrFj pic.twitter.com/wpMuNOCz3B

First I spotted the news that an Irish stamp would feature a complete short story, now comes this
RT @bbcbreaking: Jane Austen is to feature on next £10 note - replacing Charles Darwin - announces Bank of England http://t.co/OsHceHtyyu

The sample at the BBC's link contains a portrait of Jane and a quote—I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading. How do we start a campaign to show our support for banks notes and stamps this classy at home?
Don't know whether to moan we should have a stamp this cool in the United States or wonder whether a postage stamp is the medium for calling attention to literature.
At Twitter, @dontgetcaught spotted another story, with audio this time.
