The pictures I missed

Most of these posts were made after I got home and put the phone on charge. I can't share lunch at Pamela's, Mon Aimee Chocolat, frothy hot chocolate at La Prima (sorry  Starbuck's and Misha's, you command my loyalty in Washington, but nobody puts a thick, rich collar of cream on a latte or hot chocolate like La Prima), Enrico's Biscotti shop, Mancini's bakery, coffe beans at Prestogeorge, Sunseri's new store, and Pennsylvania Macaroni.

An enemy in the street

Almost forgot to post the first snap I made when I got to the Strip. When you're in Pittsburgh, it's hard to forget that you're in Steeler territory.

I had too much pride to snap the derogatory T-shirts about Cleveland many vendors were displaying.

Headed to Pittsburgh"s Strip. A challenge for me and Bioness

After a layoff of nearly four years, I'm going to visit the Strip in Pittsburgh this morning. It's an area full of food and craft shops. I used to look for candy, coffee, cookies, imported cheeses and groceries, seafood, and snacks of all sorts here and I hope to find them still here today. I guess it's the vitality of the area and the fun that I hope hasn't changed; it's OK if there are new stores here.

The tag might look a little strange in a blog that has so often posted note about Cleveland. It's true. This Clevelander married a Pittsburgh girl, who promises to make things fun by wearing her Steeler gear when we get to Cleveland later this weekend.

Pictures from downtown later as long as the cell phone holds a charge.
