Potholes yet again

Explore points to to a page The Oregonian that explains how people in Portland are planting flowers in potholes to protest them. It's an idea that is catching on in many places and taking many forms. I've seen a lot of creative ideas for dealing with potholes lately and am surprised that there are still so many around.

Whistler Remixed

The Peacock Room at the Freer is one of the most beautiful and amazing things I have ever seen. Now comes word of Filthy Lucre, a reimagining of the original that kicks off a series of four exhibits related to Whistler and the Peacock Room. This sounds like something not to be missed.
